Description

The BSc Business and Law provides extensive knowledge on the way law functions within the business environment. The course helps the learners to understand the core aspects of business and law such as economics, finance, sustainability, human resources, law of obligations, law of business organisations, strategy, commercial law or law of international trade.

Career pathway

After completing this BSc Business and Law, the candidates can develop a career as solicitors, with additional qualifications, but also legal executive, HR director or civil service administrator. Additionally, there are many opportunities within the legal system, including business-related, civil service, social service or criminal justice. A popular title for graduates seeking employment is compliance officer.

Work industries

This degree offers the possibility for graduates to build a career within the legal system, with some additional qualifications, but also in welfare, health, administration, HR, finance, retail or customer services. Typical employers are solicitors’ practices or large organisations, for solicitors. However, the Government is providing the most opportunities in this field.
