Description

The LLM Law provides a deeper dive into the field of law through a mixture of both academic and practical legal teaching. The course helps the learners to understand specialised aspects of law such as criminal practice and evidence, law of succession, property practice and procedure, business law, solicitors accounts and dispute resolution. It is designed to cover subjects towards the SQE qualification for aspiring solicitors.

Career pathway

After completing this LLM Law, the candidates can primarily develop a career as in-house lawyers or solicitors. Additionally, there are many opportunities within the legal system, including government legal policy, civil service, forensic accounting, local government organisations or corporate governance.

Work industries

This degree offers the possibility for graduates to build a career within the legal system, but also in welfare, compliance, HR, finance, policymaking or insurance. The governments have some of the highest ranges of job opportunities, along with law firms and multinational companies.
